These sites have excellent connections both by rail and road with Naples, Sorrento and other nearby towns. The Roman sites at Stabiae, Oplontis and Boscoreale can be located by use of the map below and are also within easy reach. As the map shows, Vesuvius looms large over all these towns.,, |
